AFI Silver Theatre will join with Solas Nua to present the 17th Annual Capital Irish Film Festival (CIFF) from March 2-5 in Silver Spring. The four-day festival will bring the best of contemporary Irish cinema by filmmakers from the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

A four-day pass is available for $130. The pass grants admission for one to every screening in the festival, including the opening night and closing night events. Passholders have the opportunity to book tickets in advance, by email or in person, for each film.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-up admissions for passholders on the day of a screening will be accepted based on availability, but are not guaranteed.

For more information on the festival, visit solasnua.org/ciff.

The Capital Irish Film Festival sounds like an interesting event, Roy.  I can't believe we are close to St. Patrick's Day.  I realized it this morning when I received an ad from my local supermarket for Corned Beef.
