The 4th of July is one of the most popular holidays of the year. Everyone enjoys a good 4th of July barbeque and fireworks. If your going to be in town for the holiday, there are a number of things happening.

 

Manteo July 4th Events


First Friday July 4th

 

Music:
The Legends of Rock-a-Billy return to Roanoke Island for their third year and bring their classic '50s and '60s rock-and-roll sounds to the Manteo Waterfront at the Main Stage at the Old Courthouse steps

Activities:
Famous Rockclimbing Wall from Kitty Hawk Kites
Magic Mike's amazing sleight of hand magic tricks and balloon sculpture artistry
Chair Massage by therapist Jim Ebert

Manteo Patriotic Music and Fireworks
Friday July 4th at the Roanoke Island Festival Park. North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Performance Festival Happy Birthday, America! Bring a picnic & celebrate our nation's independence and freedom with dazzling fireworks & patriotic music by NCSA's Jazz Ensemble & Friends, featuring vocalist Becca Stevens, & NCSA American Music Ensemble members.

 

Corolla 4th of July Events


The Whalehead Club will be holding 16th Annual Independence Day Fireworks.

 

 

Town of Duck 4th of July Events


Town of Duck's 4th of July Parade

 

 

Kill Devil Hills 4th of July Fireworks


Fireworks launched from Avalon Pier. The Avalon Pier is located at MP6. The festivities start at Dusk.

 

 

Nags Head 4th of July Fireworks


Fireworks launched from the Nags Head Fishing Pier. Fireworks start at 9:25pm.

 

 

Fish for Free Statewide


From midnight until 11:59pm on the 4th of July. The free fishing is open to all residents and non-residents. For more information visit NCWildLife.
