City of Gaithersburg Housing Element Draft
The City has released the draft Housing Element for public comment. The Housing Element outlines goals and recommendations to address future housing needs, including workforce, low-income and other affordable housing options. Over the next two months, the City will be receiving comments from government agencies, specific stakeholders, and the public. A joint public hearing will be held on June 5. While comments will be accepted until Planning Commission and City Council records close, comments received by May 9 will be included in the public hearing packet.
