Yesterday, I was sending Bob an Instant Message when he replied, "I'm going on the air" and mentioned Real Estate Radio USA. Grabbing my flip video with one hand, and typing in the URL with the other, I scrambled quickly, and this is what I managed to capture on Audio.
I used the ARVideo editing console, so I was able to put links embedded through-out the video which connect to all the posts and topics Bob mentions here. New Video, Outside Blogs, & now Localism? WOW! All this in the last 4 months? ActiveRain is really going places!

Brad, This is all a new Active Rain. Active Rain revolutionized real estate blogging and now again you guys have transformed this amazing place to an even more powerful and incredible site for us and consumers.
I know this audio/video is a bit long, but Bob's a GREAT guy, and the information he parts with, in just a short amount of time, is priceless. It took me years to figure some of this stuff out. Great Job and Kudo's to Bob for sharing this information with members and the Industry! :-)
I got to the middle, and figured that I would have to listen again, and maybe again and again. Looks like something very interesting, but for now I am lost even on a conceptual side. Well, it is a bit late, I had my tooth taken out, so I have all good reasons to go to bed.
Brad: This is absolutely great. You are... just as you have been... an excellent source of information and how-to-do-it stuff for us. Thanks so much for sharing.
NIce explanation by Bob of the advantages of our own domain over an ActiveRain subdomain. I'm still working on what content will go where, but looking forward to implementing this shortly.

Jennifer - the technology here is just like a transmission on a car, it's how the car gets us there that counts. Better fasten your seatbelt, the AR car is going to revolutionize the Real Estate Industry.
Brad, I listened to the entire interview live and thought Bob did a wonderful job. I also thought his voice sounded just like Jeff Turner!!! I was however disappointed Kelan didn't make an appearance.
Karen Anne - this was one of those on the spur moments. I had no intention on catching this on the radio whatsoever, but I guess it was just meant to be. :-) Adding the links in the video will hopefully make it easier for members to follow up and read more from the posts that were written. Sure glad I had my Flip Camera sitting there and ready to go.
John - Bob did a great job explaining many aspects of the Outside Blogs. He makes some really great points about the outside domain names and the power they can provide. I also liked his comments about localism and what's ahead for the new launch next week. These are awesome times! :-)

Missy - I don't think this was Kelan's first debut. haha. If you haven't seen Bob's video of Kelan the Great, it's a box office hit. Glad you were able to listen in on this one. Most of this, you probbly already know. Hopefully the links in the video will help others get caught up. AR is starting to move at a really fast pace.

Bryant - if you listen closely to the playback, you'll hear Kelan put his two cents in, very short and sweet and to the point. I actually heard him cut in 3 times and share his opinion. lol~ :-)
Harold - I'd say you're right. It has come and will become the Online Network that will change and revolutionize the Industry as we know it. Consumers may go to REALTOR.COM to look for houses, but they will come HERE to find local and community information. The news networks do already, consumers are smart, they are finding us too. Outside Blogs and Localism are just another way for them to find us, trust me, they will. :-)
Brad- looks good, I can't wait till I get back to Myrtle to watch/listen to it all... then I can make some popcorn, have my coke and sit back and enjoy!
Michael - no problem. It should have just been a podcast since it was audio only, but since I caught it on the flip, I figured why not take advantage of the opportunity and add some pictures and links. My first attempt at doing something like this with a radio show recording. :-)

Brad, unlike you, I am not being paid the big bucks by AR just yet...so I don't have the extra finances to buy toys like that...although I will be needing to switch my phone plan soon...and when I do, I hope to upgrade to either a blackberry or iPhone to have internet/email access on my phone!

Podcasting and Radio are the great new form of advertising and getting the POSITIVE word out there. you can take control of the NEWS in the direction you want to spin it.
We did the very same thing with our radio show. www.lakefrontradio.com Where we spotlight businesses across the nation that revolve around the lake: real estate, recreation, etc. All Positive, all business building and FUN as the guests we have had have been awesome!
Anybody who takes the time to really dig into this post, listen to ALL the audio, and invests' some of their worthy time, will come away with a FULL understanding of Outside Blogs and the New Localism. I could charge for this information here its so good! lol~ But It's not about me, or us, it's all about YOU. Yes you!
