I find that to really achieve great success, one must encounter failure. In failure, we encounter pain. To avoid pain, we must ask questions of how to avoid that failure again. Those answers are the keys to great success.
After all, when someone only succeeds, they can never appreciate success. Thus, I ponder back to questions.
I ask people I encounter, "What did you learn today?" After all, I can always use what they learned (even from their failures) to create more knowledge (and success) for myself.
I also like to immediately share what I have learned on my own. Why? Because before you can truly teach something, you must learn it first. SO, as I share what I learn, I accept feedback and questions and they help me refine my lesson.
This is another reason why I love to coach people of different professions and backgrounds. Even when I teach "the same old thing" their unique questions help me see the lesson in a whole new way.
