Active rain points and benefits

I am new to the active rain community and I would be interst to know about connections people have made.

How important are points and where have you found the most benefit to your business in the active rain community. I have been able to ask and recieved comments on many interesting subjects over the past few days but is there more in store?

Looks to me like you're not waiting around for an answer on your points question. You're pumping out the 50 word blog posts like General Mills pumps out cereal boxes.

Blogging will help with you be seen on the search engines. That is one benefit. Moving up with points will help you show up on the list you are on in your area and expertise. All this should help you get some business. The blogging will also help you establish credibility with your potential clients.
