Long Island Bank Owned Homes - Weekly Update: 

The list of the bank owned homes that came on the market on Long Island during the previous week is updated weekly.  The week begins on Friday and ends on Thursday.  By using this schedule, it allows me to provide the updated information in time for buyers to plan their weekend home viewings.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

QUESTION:  "Can my agent present offers in person on a bank owned property?"

ANSWER:  There are a few reasons why this can't be done.  First of all, the banks that own the homes are located all over the country, so it is not feasible.  The other reason is that banks are not like homeowners selling one individual property.  They are selling many properties at one time, and could not possibly handle speaking directly to each agent that has an offer to present.
