Nowhere to Go But Up!

Although most of us here in San Antonio knew our market had not been hit as bad as other areas of the country, we were also quick to acknowledge that things were not moving as well as they were 12-24 months ago.

However, a recent summer study of the top 50 U.S. markets by the PMI Mortgage Industry Co. labeled San Antonio as one of the 14 markets that had a less than 1% change of further home price decline.  Here's a link to the full article:

This is definitely encouraging news and reflects what our local office (Keller Williams IH10) has seen in regards to recent sales in our market.

Houston & Sugar Land did well also. Another example of how Texas is more resilient to the national trend. Great information to pass along to clients.

Yes, I noticed that 5 of the top 14 cities were in Texas!  Not suprising as I have never felt that San Antonio (or other areas in Texas) were overpriced (for the most part).
