Everyone that has a business card hopes that the recipient will keep and refer to that card often. One way this is achieved is by placing useful information on the reverse side. I have seen tip charts, calendars, emergency numbers, etc. I have recently given some thought to what kind of different information could be placed there. I have come up with a couple ideas:

  • Politicians names, phone numbers and email address
  • Government facts and information
  • Math info such as multiplication table or formulas
  • Measure conversion information

What other things would be ideal for the reverse side of business cards that would increase the likelihood of the business card being held longer?  Tell me your ideas...

We have the benefits of working with a buyer's agent on the back of our card.  Things that make us unique.

My daughter in law just got into the real estate business about a year ago and had been carrying a realtor's card in her purse for about 3 years because it had a tip chart on the back of it --- Needless to say, she did throw that card away and ordered her own --- (with a tip chart on it of course) Happy 4th!

In the mortgage field, I have seen on the back of LO cards, things you will need for you mortgage, such as two months of bank statements, DL, SS card, two pay stubs, etc etc.

Personally, that is where I put information that pertains to that individual mortgage, pluse my home phone numbers to locate me when they need me.

Joan - Thank you very much, that is a great idea! Provides great information for the buyer and gives cause to hold on to it (I would think until purchase or atleast selecting an agent).

Norma - Thank you, that's a neat story. I am wondering though, what's on the back of your card?

Great health and prosperity to you both!

Nancy - Thank you, good input. When I was in auto sales I would put the stock number or the vehicle they were interested in and my cell/home number, while making a point to let the know that I would be available (by phone) when they were available.

Great health and prosperity to you!

What a fantastic way to co-op!! As a realtor, i am often called on by my clients to find out who I'd recommend for a loan, insuance, inspector, etc. I myself have a "preferred partnership" with others in the industry and we share costs via co-op advertising. Those partnerships can be listed on the back of the real estate agent's cards along with contact info. Hope this helps!
