Yesterday we closed on a first time home buyers house..the buyers were excited and had many family members coming to help over the holiday weekend to paint and fix before they moved in a couple weeks from now. The sellers were a couple with two teenagers...and a surprise set of twins just a little over a year old...they too were excited to move from their small 2 bedroom home to a larger house where everyone would at last have some space. My husband attended the closing in Illinois though the home is just over the border in Wisconsin. The referral was from an employee of our pal in Active Rain, Vicki Watzlwawick. Mr. Buyer, is Andy Sudhoff, a minister in Antioch, Illinois and his wife Nicole and their new baby were a joy to work with and we shared their excitement., Seeing that the sellers were a bit overwhelmed, Reverend Andy offered to help them pack and move since he understood how much work there can be to do...and how difficult it can be to do it with the "help" of not one but TWO knee high children. Toooo many people who "yell God and Christianity" the loudest, fail to practice it when it comes to "Real Life." It was refreshing and heart warming to witness a young adult actually practice what he literally preaches.....Here's to you Sudhoff Family...how very lucky your ministry is to have you as an example...Enjoy your new home !
