Downtown Raleigh, NC is a wonderful mixture of the old and the new.  Skyscrapers are visible behind centuries old stone churches.

And the transportation options are just as varied - anything from "Raleigh Rickshaws" to horse drawn carriages and wagons.

Pick-up: Edenton St. between the State Capitol and the North Carolina Museum of History from Sat-Sun (12 noon-5 pm) (weather permitting); intersection of Hargett St. and Fayetteville St. from Fri-Sat (6 pm-11 pm) (weather permitting).

The carriages pick up passengers at Edenton St. between the State Capitol and the North Carolina Museum of History from Sat-Sun (12 noon-5 pm) and from the intersection of Hargett St. and Fayetteville St. from Fri-Sat (6 pm-11 pm).

These bicycles are built for carrying passengers swiftly through the streets of downtown Raleigh, and are so popular that the service keeps expanding.
