Ted Swoboda of Swoboda Images did it again. He climbed to the top of Mt. Baldy over looking the beautiful town of Saugatuck, Michigan.

Perched high above the harbor, Ted snapped some wonderful images of this years fireworks.

Saugatuck has three fireworks displays throughout the year and Ted is over gracious enough to send these photos to his friends. (Glad I'm one of them.)

My bride and I enjoyed the fireworks from ground level at the harbors edge, it was an awesome display once again.

Take the time to visit Ted's web site for local photos, he does a fantastic job. Thanks again Ted.

Hi Duane- I saw your headline and thought I'd have to check out who the local blogger was - there are so few from my town.

I boat, out of Saugatuck Harbor Yacht Club.  Only, my Saugatuck Harbor is in Westport, CT.  Our fireworks were launched off of Compo Beach, easily seen from Saugatuck Harbor.

That looks like it was a lot of fun.  My daughter to Grand Haven yesterday with friends to watch the fireworks and hit the beach.  I'm sure she is going to get to Saugatuck before I do.  Looks like a great place

Excellent pics Duane!  I grew up in Ludington, MI and fondly remember pics like yours.  Now I live outside Disney where they have 4 shows per night.

Nice pics!  We all had a wonderful time down in Florida too.  Orlando canceled fireworks because it wasn't in the budget.

Duane, fireworks over water are especially beautiful with the reflections below. Ted did a great job with the photos. Fireworks are not easy to take pictures of. Thanks for sharing.

Duane,

Excellent pics!  I spent my summer vacations on Drummond Island and various locations in Michigan.  I missed going again this year.

Thanks for posting the fireworks!

Randall, that's to bad with the fireworks being cancelled, hopefully next year the business community can put a drive together to fund it.

Beautiful photos indeed Duane - thanks for sharing them - we love to sit out and look at all the fireworks over lake Michigan or the local community displays as well - this year the lil town of Whiting had over a 40 minute show!!!

Sincerely,

Grace

Even at age 50+, I still love fireworks!  There is something so magical about all the colors, etc.  I am always the one in the house saying let's go!  Let's have people over onthe Fourth!  Happy belated Fourth of July!
