In listing this home we decided to do high resolution photos for the Virtual Tour:

(I would love to hear your comments on these HIGH - RESOLUTION PHOTOS!)

820 Reas Ford

(CLICK PHOTO above for HIGH RES VIRTUAL TOUR)
...You can click on any photo to ZOOM to an area....

This is an opportunity to purchase 2 homes (there is a guest cottage) on 5 acres for 569,900. The land is wonderful and the home is magnificently cared for. The pool is breathtaking, the grounds meticulously cared for more than 35 years are mature and beautiful. Major updates to the main house and cottage make the home completely up to date. Almost to good to be true.

Hi Charles,

The pictures take some time to load on my system and it is a beautiful listing but I feel that the high resolution almost makes it look airbrushed.  Are people going to think the house needs to be 'brushed to look so good?  I don't know.

What exactly makes it "high resolution"?  Size?  Are these HDR photos?  They look like it.

I have no problem, but I have a fiber optic connection, which is about 10 times faster than most people.  I would think you may have a problem with too long of a download time for the average joe.

I'm on a cable connection and it takes a moment for the photos to go from fuzzy to clear.  Once completely loaded, it's amazing how close in you can zoom!  Make sure the dust bunnies are gone before taking photos like this.  Did you hire a professional to take these?

Charles,

HiRes is great, but some of these photos appear grainy to me.  I think just a tad of soft focus adjustment could make a world of difference.  It won't sacrifice the resolution but will take away that "hard" look.  All in all it's a great slideshow, but it's almost too "commercial" looking as sharp as they are.

I thought they looked great too, but as with the others the loading time was a bit long.

Charles, that hi res tour with the slides was very cool. It took two paints of the screen but the photos were extra crisp! Superb work on your part. The second painting of the screen was fast for me since I have high speed Internet access.

The photos are great and the rooms are large and bright the presentation makes the property look great.

Charles, great job and what detail in the home with the shelving in the bedrooms and glass shelves in the bath, love the large rec room, wow.

I agree with Paddy on the load time, but I noticed if I moved the cursor, then the arrow would show up right away for the next photo. If someone didn't know this, then it would take some time to load.

Those photos are awesome.  They almost look like computer designed images. So crisp.

Charles, you can make an attic look fabulous.  I'm borrowing a friends clunky laptop, and the pictures loaded quickly.

Don't know why, but I can't see the tour.  The first photo looks great.  I used picnik.com to enhance the last visual tour I posted.  Looks so much better.   Now, if I could just see your photos.
