It's 11am in the morning, and we are waiting behind the velvet rope to experience one of the newest ultra pools in Las Vegas, Wet Republic at the MGM Grand.

Compliments of our VIP Host, we are first to enter; thereby providing first choice of lounge chaise and water chaise (These are the green chairs that you see in the picture. They are in shallow water and a great way to keep cool all day. Be careful though, as they get very hot very fast. It was necessary to keep splashing them down with water.)

Wet Republic evokes a sensuous South Beach ambiance with a seductively modern vibe. Setting the standard for luxury by the pool, it features two spectacular saltwater pools, eight individual pools and spas, exclusive VIP Bunagalows, hip party cabanas, spacious daybeds, and oversized deluxe chaise lounges.

Great food and signature cocktails are served poolside or in the lounge. I tried the Kobe Sliders and they are fantastic.

By 2pm in the afternoon, the guest DJ had arrived and everyone was in the pool or dancing around the pool. It was a place to see and be seen.

If you are interested in going to Wet Republic, submit a request through our Concierge Desk and we can make the VIP arrangements.

Sounds heavenly.  Hopefully your were not waiting behind the ropes with laptop in hand.  Water and laptops do not mix well!!
