The Milford Oyster festival is the perfect event for many non-profit organizations to raise money.  Stop by The Milford Green or The Milford Harbor.  Shuttle buses are provided for free.  Milford is also easy accessible via The Metro North Railroad and I-95

Tina this sounds like a great time.  You are going to have to do another blog on this when it gets closer to the date to remind everyone.

Yes I will probably do another blog.  I posted one months ago regarding the Oyster Festival but thought it would be a great time to remind everyone again.  I used to go every year but stopped maybe will go this year to check it out.

Tina, This sounds like a fun time. August, that is far off.. I hope I remember.. one thing I will remember is NOT to eat the Oysters UGH, I don't see how people can eat them.  One look at them (great picture) and they make me sick.

Valerie, I agree one hundred percent.  I cannot understand how people can eat them raw.  They just slurp them right down.   It is something that I also can not understand.  The Oyster Festival is alot of fun.  You have to do alot of walking and if it is a hot day you get tired really fast.  Thanks for stopping by.  :  )

Tina.. I'll try to remember this date.. seems like fun.  I just read where George suggested about reminding us again about this.  I think that would be a good idea.

Hi Valerie.  The Festival ended yesterday.  I was not able to go as I was working as well.  I heard and read alot about in today's CT Post and New Haven Register.   I always like to go so that I could dunk the firemen at the dunking booth.  That is always alot of fun!

By the way you and I should meet one day.  You seem like such a pleasant person.  Maybe if in the area we could get together.  I will keep it in mind for the future.

Tina... I really like the idea of getting together.  How far north do you travel for business?  Maybe we can meet in the middle.

The farthest I have gone is Waterbury,Meriden, and Middletown.

Tina, Meriden and Middletown are close for me... even Wallingford works if this is better for you.

I will keep it in mind the next time I have an appointment in the area.  Maybe we can meet then.
