Two Sky High Sales at Apogee Condos in South Beach

It has been reported that there were two recent sales in the last few months in Apogee for $16.5 million and $15 million according to Miami-Dade tax records. The units are both on the top floor, so they are really penthouses. Each has over 6,700 square feet of living space plus over 2,500 square feet of wrap-around terrace.

Apogee was recently completed in early 2008. It was built by The Related Group of Florida, South Florida's largest developer, on a 2.88-acre site and 500 linear feet of unobstructed bayfront views on the last waterfront site at the southern tip of South Beach. It is considered the crown jewel of the Related Group and was designed for the ultra-rich.

Ooof, that's a hefty price. Sounds crazy for me, but as far as I understand these are not the highest priced condos ever bought.

Good someone still can afford unitslike that, and I do not even want to think about the property taxes

Michael - keep the west coast of Florida in mind for those buyerw who don't want (or can't afford) to pay those prices. Our luxury penthouses are in the $5 Million range.
