I've read and re-read the emyth, and it puts a good summary and roadmap for how we should model our businesses.

Gittomer's books are great as well - although I will have to find this one.  His "Little Red Book of Selling" is a staple for me and my Team!

I've heard of "The Power of Full Engagement" from our Team's Business Coach - and have to pick this one up.

In the press of business, it often seems hard to read much besides Real Estate Contracts and new legal developments.  We all have to commit to reading more - fiction, and non-fiction.

I picked up the emyth mastery and to be honest I heard a lot about the series, maybe it is the book I got, but I have been almost a third of the way through and haven't read anything useful yet.

I just finished purple cow by Seth Godin which is one of my favorite books on marketing.

I am reading free prize inside his follow up book now which is good, but not as exciting as the first one so far.

Ross - you're not gonna believe what I just discovered in the back of my home office:  Michael Gerber's "The Emyth Seminar" 6 cassette series titled  "Taking Charge of Your Business and Your Life" . . .  It is still in it's original plastic wrap!!!!!!!!!!!!!    I'm going to listen to it together with my "overcoming procrastination' series from 1984 that also hadn't been opened!   I had to search for someone with a cassette player to allow me to meet a goal my Coach I set for me.  No, I'm not kidding!

While I'm at it I'm also going to listen to these others that were collecting dust (in their original wrappers) 

1.  Goal Commitment - this one is 1976 and is a subliminal tape  using " Holophonic 3D sounds and effects !!!   Grooovy Man

2.  Personal Power - How to Project Confidence from the Inside Out

3.  Earl Nightingale  "Lead the Field"  6 more tapes that will help me "Greet the Future Knowing I'm fully Prepared"!!!

4.  The final series which I now remember buying because I kept forgetting to listen to the above:  "Memory Made Easy"  which is a 3 tape series:  How to Make your Memory more Effective,  How to Remember Lists and finally,  How to Remember Jokes and Numbers!

I want a series called:  How to NEVER buy these tapes, videos, CDs, DVDs ever ever again!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone call me in a few days to waken me or see if I'm still alive!!!!!!

Susan, it sounds like you are a Potentials Unlimited fan.  Did you know that Tiger Woods listened to Barrie's tapes as a child, as well as John Lennon -in the late 70's?  My sister-in-law is his daughter, and now runs the company in Florida.  When the company was located in Michigan, I was with the company also for a few years- a fantastic experience.  By the way, they have CD's, DVD's & MP3 downloads now!
