Ann Arbor Keller Williams Announcement

Last week we received an email from our Team Leader, Chet Hill at Keller Williams Ann Arbor. He wanted us to attend the weekly office meeting. Now I'm not much on meetings unless I know what they are going to say. However, Chet said he had a Big Announcement to make.

So I went and took my little FlipVideo Camera, which has become my new best friend.

Basically, in a bad market (according to the media) Keller Williams had its best month in history. Now I don't agree with the media that it is a bad market. it is a different market.

Sales are being made, homes are being bought, buyers are happy....You just have to adjust the way you do business. It is not sellers market, it is a buyers market. We have many clients thrilled to get into a home in Ann Arbor that was once unaffordable to many people.

Two of my recent listings have received contracts within 2 weeks, and my sellers are happy. Price, condition and location are still the top 3 reasons homes are selling in Ann Arbor and the surrounding area's of Washtenaw County.

Good Morning Missy, How wonderful that you shared this and I am delighted to see that your Flip video was able to share the moment.

Think about this one small aspect of what you and others have provided. Before blogging can you even imagine that as a REALTOR that you would ever have know about other markets ( firsthand) and how empowering it makes the conversations with consumers. Prior to blogging, I could given you a report and chances are you might have read it, and pretty much would have found it irrelevant and went off to do what you would have done before reading it. Now, however; you are able to bring the 3 V's that I used to teach in sales and marketing, to life. Be Visible, Be Vital and Be Vocal. Good Job.

Great post and I am having a banner year here in Idaho while many Realtors are dropping like flies. I am so greatful. On a separate matter. I spoke to my friend Tracy Santrock last week and she just purchase her Flip Video. She said she recommends the "Mino" even though she bought the model with replaceable batteries. May I wask which model you purchased and the one you recommend?

Hi Missy, Good news for all in your office. I sure like the way he shared it with all of you. I know personally what he means by company dollar, I'm the broker in my office. LOVE IT! As a homeowner in Ann Arbor and waiting for the market to rebound (at least a little) while living in Florida; this is indeed great news. I hope the market continues to improve and the inventory is reduced. We should get together the next time I am in Ann Arbor! I will be back in the early part of August.
