The biggest news for this past week was in Arrowhead Woods. As predicted, the number of new listings was substantially higher as sellers rushed to get their homes listed prior to the holiday weekend. Thirty four new properties were added to the inventory in Arrowhead Woods, bringing the total number of active listings up to 437.
Additional news in Lake Arrowhead real estate was Coldwell Banker's sale of a $5,950,000 lakefront property (which sold at full price after being on the market for over two years).
Overall, closed escrows were down this week (again, probably due to the holiday). There were only 7 properties sold across the mountain. With the exception of the aforementioned lakefront sale, days on market are low - less than 50 days on average.
Total inventory right now, from peak-to-peak, of single family residences sits at 1065 homes, with another 91 in escrow.
