We were fortunate to spend to our Fourth of July in Evanston, IL at our daughter's and
son-in-law's home. They live on the 21st floor in a highrise building looking out toward
Lake Michigan. The daytime views of the big lake are breathtaking. But the celebratory
explosives were something we have never experienced at an eye level before. It was awesome!
We ooohed and aaaaaawed and kept wrapped in blankets because it was a little bit chilly.
But the food, family fun, and fireworks show kept us warm.
We had a wonderful 4th of July ~ We hope you did, too.
