Thank you cards through sendoutcards.com!

In the last few years I have noticed a decline in birthday cards and thank you cards. I don't think email is a good substitute.

I have been using sendoutcards.com for the last 6 months. I love it! I am able to choose from hundreds of thank you cards, birthday and anniversary cards. I can even post date cards for the weeks I am on vacation.

With the personalization of pictures you can really set yourself apart. I have gotten more listings just because I send out a thank you card.

My family loves that I still send out cards (in my own hand writing) I can even send gifts and gift cards.

Brad - something to think about. I've always wondered how to (comfortably) ask for birthdates to allow the sending of a birthday card.

I still send out thank-you cards to every one of my clients that close escrow. I don't send my clients birthday cards. I have enough family and friends that I do send birthday cards to.

I send out a questionnaire after closing asking for birthdays, anniversaries and kids birthdays.

A little secret. At closing when the title company has to make copies of the drivers license ask them to make you a copy or volunteer to make the copy yourself. ( I am not if they do that in your state)

In the past 10 years I have never had someone say how did you get my birthday. I get more complements and thank yous that I actually send a card. One lady told me that her family doesn't even send cards, they just call.

Brad, I usually have the email addresses and send out email birthday cards. Most people today use email and I try to show them that we are Green by using email.
