Should Mimi be my official new Assistant?

By
Real Estate Agent with Premier Florida Realty of SWFL

I have looked for awhile for a solid real estate assistant, someone who has an exuberant personality, high energy and can attract new clients. I require someone who is a go getter and Mimi is that (especially if you put a piece of steak in front of her). She does have good social skills, although I wish she that didn't she exhibit her jumping abilities quite so often on potential clients, although most of them take it in good natured stride.   Since I've mentioned this possibility to her, Mimi has become very excited and has even scheduled an appointment tomorrow at Four Paws for a manicure.

Mimi is a popular girl here on Fort Myers Beach and possesses many of the qualities that I am seeking in an assistant.  But, is she mature enough to take on such responsibility?

LLoyd - I think Mimi would be great at attracting new clients,  Looks like she knows how to network.  I think you will need a virtual assistant to address order functions.

Honest, reliable, friendly and so's the dog!  Saw this on a business card once with an agent pictured with his dog. Not too many people can walk away from a wagging tail!

I like the fact that she won't talk back and won't be taking cigarette breaks.

She sounds more qualified for the job than a few agents I've seen in the business! ; )

Then its official: Mimi will start on monday as my new assistant

Kristal: anyway her typing is terrible and it does not matter.

Jennifer: good idea. She networks real well though. Specially if they smell like roastbeef.

Pat: she actually plays the guitar with it without knowing it.

Judy LOLOL that makes her driving more focused too.

Pam: some  should be fined by their state! I am sure Mimi has more common sense.

Michael: I noticed that to.Its not very lady like. She probably thinks she owns the business too.

Sally & David:  lol well all seem to agree on the credential thing. Too many agents are clueless.

Hey LLoyd, Dogs can make great "work" companions. My exwife is a veterinarian and she always use to take our Lab to work with her every day. It was amazing that on the few times that Dixie did not go to work ....  the clients would be upset because Dixie was not present to greet them.

She gets my vote.  Can a boxer actually sit still?  I raised 2 boxers and love them.  One of these days I will get another one.

Jeff, she's a Rhodesian mix, but I suspect that there's a little Boxer in her.  She's still a puppy at one year of age and her energy is overwhelming at times, but once she's settled in the house, the Rhodesian in her takes over and she can rest on the bed for a couple of hours.
