41 Hours In An Elevator

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams

I found this video on the New Yorker website.  It's about Nicholas White, who went to go for a cigarette break and instead was trapped in an elevator for 41 hours.  The video was taken from inside the elevator. What would you do in such a situation?

I would hope someone near and dear to me missed me sooner than 41 hours, so it is sad for this individual not to be missed.  P.S. if he was going for a smoke why not try to set off a smoke detector with his lighter / matches? Steve

That was scary.  He was trapped for almost 2 full days.  I wonder why it took so long to rescue him.  My claustrophobia would have kicked in.

On the other hand, a good way to diet? LOL

Jessica, I watched the video.  To your question: I guess there is not much you can do except wait.

I would smoke a cigarette, take a long nap, wake up smoke another cigarette, wonder how bad the kids are being at home smoke another.  Come dinner time perhaps chew on a few toenails, smoke a cigarette, take a long nap.

That is absolutely AWFUL!!!  Did they not realize he was stuck in there?  Was no one monitoring the cameras?  Did no one notice that the elevator was not operating?

I probably would have gone out of my mind!
