At least for me it does.

I mean change offices.  Real estate offices.

I was an agent at one office for almost three years.  It was where I got started.  It was a large part of my real estate identity.

Probably too much.

So it was time for a change.

But it takes awhile.

It does take a while... I switched a year and half ago, took about 6 months to rebound on business, well, business was slow to begin with.  Now I am cranking on things and I couldn't be happier about my decision.

Yes, Ken, it takes some time to find a new office and to get used to the new policies etc.

Just make sure you do not loose your clients in the move

It does take time, your new site looks good. Add a page on your blog, it will help in your search engine optimization.

Ken, good luck with your new focus. Many times new scenery gives new energy and drive.

When I left my last agency it took 6 months. I just couldn't do it. My wife finally pushed me over the edge. After my broker laid the fate of our agency on my shoulders my wife told me I HAD to talk to her and tell her that I was making a move. I did it that day and never looked back. If our present agency isn't working out, it's business. We need to make a move.

Hi Ken,

Change can be hard, it can also be very good.  After being the principal broker of my office for 20 years I have decided to merge with another office.  David Endres Realty Group of Scarsdale is now operating in my office until we finalize all the paperwork.

It is scary.  It is exciting. It is fun. It is energizing. It is strange. All at once there is someone else that will share my decision making.

I am looking forward to it.  You will get used to it. You are smart.  It is a hard market, it just takes more work.

All the best!

Ken,

The good part about change is it will get you out of your comfort zone.  Good luck and loads of success with the new company.
