Having just completed training as a Certified Estate Specialist, I was able to gain extensive knowledge of the Role of an Auctioneer and the role we can play in helping seniors who may need or want to downsize or in settling estates. 

Wth the real estate market remaining sluggish in most of the U.S,  Seniors who are seeking to relocate often do not want to wait months or years to sell there property.  Auctions can provide a streamlined and efficient process to sell both real and personal property in a matter of weeks.  Sellers can also rest assured that through a well implemented marketing plan that spotlights the property, the owner can expect multiple bidders who often bid the price up to market or close to market value.  The same holds true for those who are settling estates.   Holding on to vacant property and managing the expenses of a vacant home and the risks associated with vandalism, liability, ongoing maintenence, taxes etc. can add to an already stressful situation. A well planned auction can be the best solution for heirs to sell assets and move forward through what is often a very challenging time in there lives.
