The fourth of July spirit, national spirit hit all of us in different ways.
While on vacation in the small Northern California city of Willows, Where Mom lives, I bumped into a very unique home. It was painted like the American flag, in inquiring about the home I found out that it is actually a rental duplex. The owner of the duplex wanted to reveal his level of patriotism through the painting of his rental.
I laughed when I heard that he painted his rental unit instead of his primary residence, I guess he had some level of patriotism but not enough to paint his own home.
