Add interactivity to your local posts while capturing leads. You have just created a great blog post about one of your local cities. What if you could add a poll or a questionnaire to your city post? Just think of the questions you could ask. Check out Zoho Polls for free polls you can add to your website or blog and check out Zoho Creator for web form questionnaires. See the quick sample I created below using Zoho Creator…

On your questionnaire you can add an optional email address input field. Now when someone submits the questionnaire on your post you have captured that lead and depending on how they answered your questions you can follow up via email with some suggestions. If they are looking to vacation you can follow up with some hot spots. If they are looking for Real Estate you can follow up introducing yourself. The fact that you took the time to email them hot spots gives you a much better chance that they will remember you.

I am sure many of you can come up with much more creative questions then in my sample so have fun with it.

For those of you who missed tip #1 (How to add Google maps to your blog) you can read it from http://www.activerain.com/blogsview/578023/How-to-add-value

Great idea Misty. I can see where it would work in today's culture.

Hello Judy- we use questionnaire's often in our business.  It helps us understand what our clients need and want.  Polls are a little different because they are generally anonymous but people tend to fill them out more than the questionnaire's.

Thanks everyone else for all your positive feedback.  Submit a link here to your post if you added a poll or questionnaire to it.  I would love to see the different ideas that you come up with.

I have used a survey feature on my website from Constant Contact, with no response. This seems like a great idea. Directly to the post.

Do you have any experience with it as far as results tabulation.

This is exciting. and will hopefully have a better resonse that my constant contact effort.

Thanks,

Richard
