Thank You Gift Idea for Clients, Not Free But Affordable!

By
Real Estate Agent with Park Square Realty serving Western MA

I have been using VistaPrint for years for business cards, but recently they added a lot of new products and I decided to give them a try.  I started by designing a T-shirt that I bring to my new listings as a thank you gift.

I leave that at the house along with the feature sheets, a stack of cards and a post-it notes:

I also had a baseball cap made up, which I intended to wear myself, but the first day I had it on one of my best friends snatched it from me and I won't ever see it again.  I ordered more:

I also put a new order in for more T-shirts because all of my friends said they want one and will be my mobile advertising...works for me!

If you are a member of upromise.com (I should write another post about this) VistaPrint is offering a limited time 50% sale price.  For example:  the T-shirt usually would cost almost $10.00   If you are a upromise.com member, you pay only $4.49 each!

I had thought about the t-shirt idea. I just haven't got around to it. Thanks for the reminder.

Do you have a sample of the t-shirt and cap?

Agents are you looking for a great closing gift to give your clients and guarantee referrals. Look no further! Check out the website www.cakeandaprayer.com. I gave my last clients a cake and a prayer and they were blown away by it. The great thing about the gift was that the website had pre-written gift messages.  I was surprised at the quality of the gift and the price.  It included the gift card, cake (which was so good we all wanted more) and a framed scripture with my name signed on the bottom.   Realtors, check out this very unique gift rather than giving the usual gift card. Trust me you will not be disappointed! I used this discount code (RE080108) and got $10 off, try it!

Interesting I never thought of giving clients clothes. Seems like sizing is a sensitive issue to some people. I thought of sponsoring little league teams with my name and logos instead. However its a great idea and Im always looking for more creative gifts for my clients.

We actually make a basket for our clients. Go to the Dollar store or Marshalls and just buy a bunch of the stuff that is on sale. Throw a bottle of wine in there as well as some Chubb Realty Group pens and magnets and then call it a day. Very affordable and personal. They love it.

I quite often provide my Clients with a gift certificate to one of the home improvement stores. Why? Because as a home inspector, I know they are going to have at least one problem when they close escrow and move in.

I do something that I've never seen anyone else do. After deviously finding out the favorite colors of my Clients, I'll buy a square planter of that color, have my business card glazed to one side, and plant a pothos ivy (aka devil's ivy) and a heartleaf ivy (aka heartleaf philodendron) in them. They then have three sides to show to the public, but they always know that my contact information is right there on the planter. The reason for the pothos ivy and the heartleaf ivy is that they adapt easily to indoor air pollution (cigarettes, etc.), low light, bright light, low water, high water, neglect, etc. It's virtually impossible to kill them, so they'll always have at least one beautiful plant in their new home.
