Honolulu Realtor, Gayle Fujita Ramsey, on her horse Ellie, in the annual Kailua 4th of July Parade 2008. This was the first time Gayle and/or Ellie rode in a parade and both of them had a blast! There were 11 riders in total, along with hundreds of other people in the annual event.

Denver lead the group down the 1.5 mile parade route holding the American Flag. As the flag gently blew in the light tradewinds, you could not help but feel a patriotic spirit welling up inside. While Denver lead the pack, Gayle was at the far end, just in front of the "Pooper Scoopers", who received the loudest cheers of all!

Ellie was dressed from head to tail with Red, White and Blue Ribbons and really enjoyed the experience. Besides hanging out in Kailua, Ellie loves Carrots, Chasing Dogs and LOVES LOVES LOVES to Chase COWS! Gayle and Ellie compete in Hawaii Sorting Events and do very well together...for Rookies!
Shiloh, Ellie's best friend and Gayle's first horse, sat out the parade as she would rather eat grass and just be a horse. Give her an apple and she'll be your best friend too!
Kailua is one of the best places to live on Oahu. It has excellent White Sand Beaches, homes that range in price from the mid/upper five hundred thousands to several million dollars, Condos can be found for under $300,000. Kailua is also only minutes to many of Oahu's Horse Ranches and one of its Polo Fields. Here is a link to look for homes in Kailua or anywhere else on Oahu or in Honolulu.

We hope you will find the things in life that make you happy. If we can help, call us anytime.
Cheers-
Mike
