WCR Meeting

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with Gateway Realty

Hi Everyone,

It's Barrett Adams again.

I joined WCR not too long ago.  It has been a fun way to meet more of the local Agents and Service Providers on a social level.

Anyway, while visiting with the chapter president, I got myself roped into chairing a committee.  Next years calendar is partly my responsibility.

Last year they took the calendar all over the country to every WCR event they went to, and just handed them out like candy.  It seems a great way to get widespread referral opportunities.

How many of you are part of WCR or of another Real Estate Organization?

Hey Barrett - Get used to it! I was in WCR last year here in Houston. This organization is terrific for vendors to pick up extra business from Realtors. Realtors often find themselves caught up in politics, chores, work and meetings that occupy much of their time. You do get those "free lunches" and speeches. You have to ask yourself what's more important.

I chaired the Golf Committee for 1 month realized 15 hours a week to WCR was just to much!

Good luck...The'll probably ask you to chair something again and again and again!
