Yes! Foreclosures can be very profitable and rewarding for those experienced in real estate. Not very experienced? Be very cautious.
Be sure you are familiar with all risks involved with foreclosed property. Since most foreclosures are sold "as is" a in-depth check for liens, structural damage and unpaid taxes is a must. Make sure you know the market value of the foreclosed property, the balance in default to the lender and balance on the loan.
