Renters should consider buying a home now.Interest rates are still low,and home prices have dropped in many markets.Recall the high interest rates in the late 1980's-early 1990's? They were around17-18%.

Now is the time to buy and start building equity!

Thanks for the post. The answer is education. Most people don't truly understand the benefits of homeownership. That absence of knowledge can also create fear. Fear can immobilize. That's where first time buyer seminars come into play, it is one way to engage the uninitiated.

The problem with renter's is that they have no money for a down payment.  If they have good credit...there is FHA...
