In my life, I have been hit by a car, been hit by an all-American guard, fell 18 feet on my back, played rugby, football without pads, and fell off not one but two cars hood surfing (think teen wolf). 

Last night, I was at a friends house to grab my computer that we has fixing for me.  As I was leaving completely sober, by the way, I took one misstep and I went tumbling head over heals over the his handrail.  I clanked my head off of the pavement as I was trying to protect my external hard drive, wrenching my knee, a huge knot on my hard head and scrapes up and down my leg. 

Hey, don't worry about me I am a gamer.  I strapped and was back in the trenches today, back in the office creating ooportunites for home-buyers and a new game plan that I will keep under wraps for a little while longer.

But, I ache.  I have not hurt this bad since I wrecked on my skis in high school.  Well, since, I that Mack truck ran me down in the middle of Lincolnway in Valpo.  Ok, ok that never happened, but you know what I feel like today. I ache and all my wife tells is that I am getting older. Man, it sucks to get older as I near 40 and the things that I used to do hurt the next day.  I would ride my bike like my hair was on fire, hitting jumps and ramps flying through the hair, but now I prefer to just go fast and hope I don't wreck. 

I took that wreckless abandon and turned it to my business as I try to help people in northwest Indiana find the home of the their dreams.  But, I am not here to complain though I am feeling tight and a little off it is a good kind of pain.  It lets me know that I am lucky, I could have been hurt worse.  I am lucky
