Neighborhood Values: Lockeland Springs

Since the late 1990s, Lockeland Springs has seen some of the Nashville area's most aggressive appreciation. I moved into the area in the early 2000s and have enjoyed watching the neighborhood grow and improve while still embracing its history and diversity.

Currently, the average 2000 square foot home in the neighborhood will run you $283,253, which is a 12% increase from 2007. The current average days on market is 58; so, multiple offers are not rare for a well-priced home. The top SOLD home price in 2008 is $525,000 (as of July 11, 2008).

The average home in Lockeland Springs will have three bedrooms and two baths. They rarely have half baths and one bath homes are still commonplace. In the past four years, aggressive appreciation has happened in the single family home market. Most of the condo market is relatively new; so, statistics aren't has robust for sharing.
