The Aero Club in Wellington Florida is an aeronautical subdivision that is upscale and very desirable for those who are aeronautical enthusiasts as well as those who are afraid to even get in a plane. There is something alluring and romantic watching the flight of these small places that barely make a sound. They land softly on a turfed runway and most then taxi right into their hangers at their homes.

There are 284 custom built homes each sitting on one acre or more of land. The subdivision is not gated in order to have it blend with the community of Wellington where friendly people live and play together. Stay tuned as I am posting more about this fabulous area and a video tour of the area.

Currently there are 22 homes for sale in the Aero Club of Wellington subdivision. The lowest priced home for sale at this time is $719,000 on Take Off Place. It is one of the smaller homes that was built before the Architectural review board became very strict with their minimum size to build.

The highest priced home is right on the taxi way and is listed for $3,500,000 and boasts over 8,000 square feet of living area. In Florida we consider living area as all the air conditioned space. So this square footage is not the hanger or the garage, porch or patio. The hanger with this home is over 2,700 square feet. You can see the runway right outside of your property lines. What a view!

Since last September 10 homes have sold in the Aero Club in Wellington Florida. The lowest priced sale was $715,000 and they were asking $749,000. But most of them sold in the $900,000 to the lower 1 millions. The highest sold was listed at $1,849,000 and sold for $1,300,000. This was a stunning home.
