I was reading an article, about a young Christian student named Diane who was home for the summer and visiting friends late on evening. She had to unexpectedly walk home alone and it was a small town, she only lived a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Daine asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, she decided to take a short cut to her house, however half way down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for "God's Protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and serenity wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day she read in the newspaper that a young girl was raped in the alley just 20 mins. after she passed by.Feeling overwhlemed by the tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and praying for God to help this woman, she decided to go to the poice station. She felt she could recognize the man and told them her story. Diane identified the man in a police lineup and the man immediately broked down and confessed.

The officer thanked her for her braveness and asked if there was anything he could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious why the man had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."

I can not tell you the times, especially from Missionaries that come to speak at our church that I hear hundreds of accounts like this of God's Angel's protecting us.  God is capable of doing many miracles, you just have to love him and believe in his love and protection. Just ask for it and he will protect you.
