This is something I have heard about from other realtors.  I'm just wondering if there is anyone on here who has taken the course who may give some feedback on it.

Was it worth your while?  Did you learn anything valuable from it?  I am soon going to be going on maternity leave and am considering signing up for it and taking it over the next few months.

I know the trend is starting to focus more on the environment and going green and I just wonder if this is something worth investing time and money.  I know you need to pay to renew your membership each year in order to remain qualified.

What are some comments on this course - negative as well as positve? Should I sign up?

I have taken the E-PRO course and have the designation.  I haven't really marketed it enough though so I don't know if it's been to my advantage or not.  I do know I am the only one on PEI that I know of that has the designation.

Any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I spoke recently with Active Rain member Evan Little (who I actually found on the Eco Broker website), and when I told him that's where I found him he said something like "Oh, great place to find people" or something to that extent. That said, he sounds like an enthusiastic member who could probably give you some good insight on your specific concerns.

Congratulations on your impending new arrival!

Carol, my only concern would be that you utilize whatever courses you are going to take.  Just like with e-pro, if you are not utilizing that designation to your benefit, why take the time and spend the money to have it?  You must use your time and money wisely in order for any designation to be beneficial to your business.  If you are taking these courses just to add letters to your business card, then you are doing it for the wrong reason.  If you are truly doing it to become a better educated real estate agent and help your clients, then you should definately take the course.

Thanks for asking the question - I've been thinking about taking the course as well. I'm heading over to Evan Little's blog.
