Golfers, I know you want to live near a golf course when you relocate to the D.C.-Baltimore area!  We certainly did, when we moved to Maryland, and we chose to live blocks from the Crofton Country Club golf course.  We watched our children grew up on the golf course, compete as juniors across the country, play college golf, and enjoy the sport as adults.  Now, we take two of our grandchildren to the club weekly for their first formal exposure to the game, at ages 8 and 10.

It is certainly convenient to live close to where you like to golf. Not only is it convenient but those areas are usually pretty areas and often offer a lot of amenities along with the golf.

Betty, it's always nice to live near the place you play, whether it's golf, fishing, boating, etc.

Chris Ann, this is one of the reasons people are attracted to Crofton.

Debbie, I grew up in Silver Spring and my entire family golfed, swam, and dined often at Argyle Country Club.  In fact, those who live in Montgomery County still do so.
