I was supposed to continue with my interpretation of the latest statistic on Maui Real Estate, but this one was too good to pass.
I was sitting open house in Napili, yesterday, on the large lanai, completely immersed in my blogging:-)), when I lifted my head and saw this absolutely amazing rainbow.
These pictures are not zoomed in, altered or enhanced in any way. And I dare say that they are not as good as the REAL THING. They say that two people can not see a rainbow the same way. I was soo fortunate to see this one, the colours were so clear and the rainbow was so well defined, one could really try and find the pot of the gold.
One of my friends from Texas is absolutely amazed and in love with Maui rainbows, that are very frequent in Napili. She is contemplating purchasing property on Maui and it seems that there are better options, in terms of price, in Kihei. But her heart told her that she needs to see the almost daily rainbows and Napili. Thus, torn between price and rainbows....
Well, the other day I was driving on the highway, going towards Wailea, and this beautiful double rainbow, very clearly defined, just sat there in the Kihei sky. I called my friend and told her: look, there are rainbows in Kihei too!
She told me the story of one of the people that was recently released after being in captivity in Colombia for so many years. In a recent interview about how he dealt with this situation, he mentioned that one day, when he really could see no hope anymore, he looked up to the sky and through all the foliage of the jungle, he somehow managed to see a rainbow. And that was his sign that things will turn better soon!
I wish I could attach Brother IZ song called " Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to this post. If you know the song, just start humming it.......
