Highlands Ranch Living - It’s Rodeo Time!
A Highlands Ranch Tradition...
The Rodeo in the Ranch is one of the reason I love living in Highlands Ranch.
I loved the signs that were up this year, spread out spreading the message....Don't forget You Live on a Ranch...and such.
The rodeo this year is north of Highlands Ranch Golf Club - at Lucent and Plaza Drive. The first show is tomorrow, Saturday 7/12 and will wrap up Sunday 7/13.
Saturday's performance is at 9:00 am but the gates open at 11am.
On Sunday the gates will open at 2pm for a 4:00 show time.
The gates open early for everyone to enjoy the atmosphere and participate in Mutton Bustin' and other activities. In case you don't know Mutton Busitn' is just about the funniest thing you will ever see as small children attempt to ride rodeo style! Very cute & hilarious!
I snapped these photos wile they were setting up at the site on Thursday. My kids were pretty excited. And the signs were found throughout town.
Tickets for the rodeo this year are $0 for adult and $5 for children under 12 - kids under 3 are free.
If you have recently relocated to Denver and have not yet been to the rodeo in Highlands Ranch - you should definitely not miss it!
