Ok, this isn’t supposed to happen, my client started to cry right there sitting in the kitchen table.

I’m a Realtor and not Dr Phil. . but one of the reasons why I became an agent is because I do care and I like to help people. . I simply just hate injustice.
My client was crying because she couldn’t handle the pressure anymore. I just finished telling her that she maybe a good candidate for a short sale and I will do everything possible from having go to foreclosure . .in another words
She was crying because she was finally relived that someone else was taking over on this big burden aned bring it to an end.. .
That’s all she wanted. .

You can’t help it but become emotional. . when this happens. .
You become the person that this whole family depends on
The quality of their lives for the next few years will be depending on my success to get the short sale to a final conclusion. . .hoping to even cancel a deficiency judgment against them.
Why did it happen?
The Sub-Prime mess was created because of the greediness of huge corporations to sell their notes as “A” paper to unsuspecting offshore corporations like in Germany, Japan and even your 401K (if you have any type of mutual funds investments floating around)
As simple as that. .
They couldn’t care less if the could pay for the mortgage for just the next 6 months never mind 30 years! . all they care was a signature , sell the mortgage and next case!
Who were the unsuspecting players here? (the suckers)
Minorities, people with limited education with very little money and less protection from their own communities.
I don’t blame them. . if you are going to take advantage of someone. .pick the defenseless
The people that hardly speaks English, but they were signing notes with words such as non-recourse, Assignees, accelerating notes, Negative Amortization. . Etc
No Hay Problema!

If you are starting to realize that I’m a little annoyed writing this . ..you are under estimating me.
Now the Government wants to help them. .. .I just heard the opposition say that :
“they sign for it and they knew the risks.”
Yes they know the risks now dumb a**. . .before they were swindled!
