How *BODY BUILDING* helped me in Real Estate

By
Real Estate Agent with Century 21

I'll be Back! Formula for success = BODY BUILDING. It is not as repugnant as it sounds. It teaches discipline and focus. A healthy body paves the way to a healthy mind. Strong muscles lead to a more fit body which provides more stamina for door knocking, prospecting, etc. Stay healthy, stay fit. Treat your body right and you will be rewarded success ten times over. Even Arnold invested in real estate.

Walk confidently in the direction of your dreams. Dress for success. A slovenly dressed person may not yield the same astronomical results as one who is well dressed. A pretty face or body alone will not equate to success. It also require some mental acuity and a few brain cells. Appearance plays a part in how clients will judge you. Whether or not you are led to believe it, image is important....unless you are a multi-million dollar tycoon.

Don't take your body for granted. You body is like a car engine. You will get out what you put into it. You keep it well maintained and it will last a long time. Stay the course and you won't regret it. Real estate is a long career. Make sure you are prepared for the long haul.

I agree 100% appearence is very important. Its the first thing people see, is what you look like, before a word is spoken.

Jim - not only is the excercise of body building good for a 'good figure'....it's also an outlet for stress, which this business can yield a lot of!

I believe you need to have a daily discipline to achieve any goal. Excercise is no doubt a large part of a healthy life style. I pesonally prefer sporting activities like bike riding, swimming, and tennis to lifting.

IMNJ, you're right on that. The key is to do something extracurricular as it will help the mind to stay focused.

Jim - thanks for the inspiration to kick it up a notch!  I'm a cyclist and my goal is a century ride...I've hit 84, and going to 100 by Ocotober...  and as I add each mile my confidence level goes up as does my energy...  Great blog!  PS - I now have a greater appreciation for body building!
