So what is better? Using a video game device or hitting a wiffle curve?

Went to a birthday party over the weekend for a 10 year old and there was a group of 6 kids, all around 10, huddled in the corner playing video games. I watched for a little while, and it kind of looked fun so I tried it. I needed a 5 year old to show me how to turn the game on and select one to play! Never did actually get it to play anything.

I asked the kids if they wanted to play wiffle ball. They said sure, what's that? Well, I showed them. With a few flicks of my wrist I can throw a 10 ft curve that starts at their face and breaks over the plate for a swinging strike. Hold the ball the other way and I can make it rise or drop right off the table. Best pitch, a screwball that starts over the plate and once they start to swing it ends up in their chest! That'll teach them to laugh at me! By the way, I don't think anyone got a decent hit off me the rest of the day.

Amazing that the kids can play the video games but never heard of wiffle ball. I think us older folks need to get the younger ones out in the yard and teach them a little old fashioned games. Oops, gotta go...I think I smell a wiffle ball game!

(PS. Hit 347 home runs one summer in my backyard and I am steroid free!!!)

It is great to see kids outside playing.  When I was yound, you could barely keep me in the house. However I also like video games, especially the Nintendo Wii.  With the Wii, you can play video games and get exercize too.
