One Blogger Left Behind

Do you like Webinars.... Or like for Active Rain members to know when there is a Webinar?

When I was reading Margaret Rome's blog Leaving No Blogger Behind in the Rain, which talked about a free webinar hosted by Frances Flynn Thorsen FREE Webinar -No Blogger Left Behind Breakout Session Spotlights ActiveRain recently, I realized that I was "One Blogger Left Behind".

Personally, I love Webinars they are visual and when prepared correctly and planned well out it will be a great success. My last Webinar I participated was hosted by Katerina Gasset. Can you guess what was it about? Short Sales, of course.

My comment to Margaret after missing it was "How about a group called "Active Rain Webinar" or does one similar exists and I have not found it when I searched? She replied with "Petra, Good idea; why don't you start one?" Oh Boy, here we go, another group - like we don't have any. What are your thoughts?

After talking with Katerina on the phone today and emailing Brad Andersohn asking for guidance, both said that they think it is a great idea to have a Webinar group. However, it takes time to build, promote and manage.

This group is for all Active Rain members to join if interested in upcoming Webinars, so they don't have to search for it and for members hosting Webinars to post the information about a future Webinar or Teleconference in this group.

Edited 7/15/08 - I have changed the name of the group Webinar to "Webinar and Teleconference" after recommendation from Katerina Gasset. Chances are that folks may be on the road and don't have access to a computer and internet. Another way to join and participate in a teleconference.

Petra- Thanks for starting this group, I am sure it will help a lot of people stay up with the webinars and a place where I can host them. You may also want to add teleconference calls here too because I do like to do teleconferences instead of webinars as people can take me with them on the phone wherever and multi task while listening.
