As most of you know by now, flexible plastic venting for clothes dryer venting has been banned for use in residential properties for many years because it is considered a fire hazard. But I guess that our 'ol buddy Bubba just hasn't read the latest and greatest on this regulation. Maybe they will come out with a coloring code book one of these days...

I have to admit that the duct tape was the coup de gras...

What do you think?

Large enough for Excellent service...

Small enough to care.

Have you joined my birthday alarm? It is fast painless and the best part of all, you will be helping me out.

Ah, duct tape!  The single female home owner's friend!

What amazes me even more is that this junk can still be found at the "big Box" stores, and it is the cheapest in price.  That's why Bubba buys it.

There is that duct tape again. Amazing how versatile it is. Every home needs it. Needs to color coordinate the tape with the accent paint.

Oh my word! Right next to the electrical socket too! What was Bubba thinking? (LOL)

Duct tape it has so many uses.  Remember it saved Apollo 13 from disaster.

This is better than having the dryer lent blowing all over the floor like it did before they found "DUCT TAPE". This is that homeowner's idea of Yankee ingenuity.

Dryer venting is probably the most abused thing in a lot of homes, including brand new ones. Most builders don't give a second thought to where or how the dryer will vent to. So you end up with these rediculously long, twisted runs that the dryer fan motor can't possibly handle.

Don't laugh, but I keep a roll of it in my trunk.

The Nascar guys say you hand hold a car together for 500 miles at 200 mph, if you have enough duct tape. What did it look like on the other side of this wall?

Hi Michael,

It amazes me that those dryer venting kits are still available and being sold. One would think the would have been recalled years ago. As for Duct Tape.... it solves all kinds of problems and creats a few too.

I wonder if Bubba also had the contract to paint the dryer room!

Michael, I love it.  Duct tape.  Man's cure for all that is wrong in the home.  LOL.
