Hi Michele, thanks for stopping by and your kind comments. This is a GREAT place to live...for many reasons ;^)

The Verde Santa Fe is about 1 1/2 to 2 hours north of Phoenix in the high desert country of north central Arizona. Still close enough to make a day trip into the "big city" if we feel the need! Just 15 minutes to Sedona and about 5 minutes to Cottonwood, you're centrally located in the Verde Valley here.

Okay Beth, that's not fair to show people from Iowa these gorgeous properties that us snowbirds want to migrate to.  I'm seeing a lot more posts with golfing in them as well.  Maybe us bad golfers are anxious to get out there and start playing bad golf as soon as the weather clears up.  I know that's not a problem for you in AZ, the cleaning up of the weather part.  Have a great weekend!

Hi Christopher, I don't mean to tease....great weather just comes with the territory here. I'm not a golfer (that would be my husband ;^), but I AM a good weather junkie. I need my sunshine!

Kevin & Sherry- yes, the lifestyle is our 'hottest' commodity here in Sedona and the Verde Valley. People rarely move here because they 'have' to. It's because they 'want' to.
