I am very glad to have found the A/R community and world. It is fascinating that there are so many resources and a wealth of information all in one site.
I still have so much to learn about the site and the whole blog world. I am not a tech type person at all so I have zero understanding of codes, links, hyperlinks and all the little tricks to dress up the blog. I get very confused : )
Am looking foward to getting my blog linked up to our personal site www.thesomersteam.com but have no idea how to do it. Asked my website people to do that so hopefully it can get up and running soon. Based on what I have read from a lot of the A/R community, their blog really increases their web exposure which was the main goal for us when I joined A/R just a few weeks ago.
However, the intangible benefit besides potentially increasing exposure, is that I am really enjoying clearing my head and taking the time to write on some topics that are a part of our experience and share our thoughts. It really provides an opportunity to relax and to have a creative type of outlet. My wife Stephanie is an artist (and a realtor) so she is always considered the creative one and myself the numbers guy, the negotiator and so forth... So this is great for me. In the next couple of weeks, Stephanie will probably be posting some of her thoughts as well !
In any event, it is a blast to have 10,000 points and growing ! Thanks to everyone who has welcomed us and who has already shared comments back and forth.
It is all very exciting and rewarding !!!!! We look foward to continue growing with the A/R community !
