Direct from the "Uncle Fester School of Modeling" comes a perfect example of why it's not always a good idea for Realtors to do their own virtual tours.

  • Sometimes it comes off as amatuerish.
  • Sometimes it shows the property in a bad light.
  • Sometimes it doesn't really show the property at all.

And then every so often, once comes along.....

Where there are just no words except INDESCRIBABLE

I don't know...Makes me want to call right now and go see it.  Looks like there is a party going on with all of those people in the shots.  I especially like the guy in black to help me really understand what I am looking at. You know...oh that's a hallway.

Wow...those are some seriously bad shots.  They would be better off with an exterior shot and nothing else.

that was really bad.  Let's hope his seller doesn't see this.

Fred, I have to agree. This example of a virtual tour is INDESCRIBABLE. Thank you for the entertainment.

Barbara: It definitely gives new meaning to "in the closet".  Hope he's not gay too - that would be too much!

I don't know Fred. Looks like the home has some very interesting features that I just can't seen to see.... Like the natural wood stained closets doors, and the small hallway... (tee-hee) Thanks for sharing!!

Sometimes I'm amazed what people are willing to pay $ for - if I was the seller I would have torn up the listing agreement the moment I saw this. Especially considering how affordable professional photography has become in the past few years - a Picture Plan like this (http://www.smartfloorplan.com/il/v280891) cost under $100.

Oh my god !! That is pretty bad. I can't believe someone would be so stupid and do a tour like that!

You just never know what people are thinking when they do stuff like that do you or what they were on.

WOW! I am learning how to make video tours of my team's listings because as I am the techie of the bunch.  I can't imagine any one really thinking "Hey, this looks good let's post it!" But having been in real estate since 2000, I know it is true.

Fred, I am cracking up! Is this for real? I loved how he was standing in the hallway, with the numbers 1, 2 and 3...WHAT?  He sure knew how to pose, didn't he? How funny. Thanks for the good laugh. Now, I feel really talented!

Hi Fred,
If this wasn't so sad, it would be funny.  This videographer needs some training.

You have got to be kidding me!  And, who are all those people?  Absolutely hysterical but incredibly sad at the same time!

This CAN NOT be for real.  Please tell me this is a joke.  Surely no one would put this online as a virtual tour!!!!!!!!

Gotta be a joke! No self-respecting agent would represent a property like this. No photos might have been a better way to go. :)

This can't be real! At first I thought the guy in every picture was a mannequin they were moving from room to room.  Where did you get this video?

Christine:  The truth is hard to swallow sometimes.  It's not only real, it is currently an active listing.  The only saving grace is that we now know that pathetic marketing in real estate is not just limited to the good 'ole USA - this is from Austraila.
