Fanwood has very few multifamily properties, so it stands to reason that there are few available for sale. However, what Fanwood lacks in numbers it more than makes up for in character and charm.

There were two properties available for sale in January, with an average list price of $762,400.  The average days on market were roughly 38.. Interestingly enough, there was 1 new listing with a sales price of $749,900. No multifamily properties went under contract in January for either year. Neither 2006 or 2007 had closed sales in January.

Fanwood is one of the few communities in New Jersey where properties are selling in less than two months. This may in part be attributable to the low turnover.
