Visitors are often confused about the location of Table Rock Lake, which is understandable. The answer is long...with nearly 800 miles of shoreline, Table Rock Lake is located in many cities and towns.

lake

Starting on the west side of Branson at Table Rock Dam, the lake continues south through Hollister, Ridgedale, and down into Arkansas where it stops with a small section over the state line. To the west of Ridgedale is the Blue Eye area of the lake off of Highway 86. We often refer to the Ridgedale/Blue Eye area as the South Side of Table Rock Lake.

Very near the dam, to the north, is Indian Point. Continue on west and you'll come to Branson West and Reeds Spring. This sparks confusion for most folks from out of the area. When you look at a map, neither Reeds Spring nor Branson West is near Table Rock Lake. However, many of the lake communities near these cities have a Reeds Spring or Branson West mailing address. The same situation is true for Blue Eye.

Continue west and you'll come to Kimberling City, Lampe, and Baxter. From that point, to the north is the Y Highway area which has a Galena mailing address, then Cape Fair, and on into the actual town of Galena.

Even further to the west is the Shell Knob area including Viola. Table Rock Lake then winds south to the Arkansas line again. On the Missouri side, you'll find Golden and Eagle Rock.

Across the state line into Arkansas you'll come to Holiday Island. Table Rock Lake's border ends shortly afterwards at Beaver Dam.

Tammy- Great information. I live less than two hours away from Table Rock and did not realize how large it was. I guess I never really looked at the map to see Table Rock also went into Arkansas.

You're in a very pretty area, one I wish we took more time to explore.
